Meet the Bro
Location: Travelling between the ‘burbs and Florida for work for the next few months, but will be moving to the city soon!
Occupation: Research Assistant
Favorite movie: Best in Show
Favorite Restaurant in Chicago: Not sure yet, but I did have some baller shrimp shumai at Kamehachi in Old Town recently. But if we’re talking ChicagoLAND, then I have to say the food (and beer) at Three Floyds Brewpub in Indiana is UNREAL.
Favorite drink: Gin and Tonic is appropriate in any situation, but I would also never (NEVER) turn down a Bloody Mary.
It with my greatest pleasure to introduce Alex to Not Your Average Bro. Al and I have been great friends for years. He is honestly one the funniest, nicest, and most loving men that I have ever met. Al is originally from Indiana and ventured off to NYC for college. He is very into pop culture, music, good cocktails, and of course, craft beer (Three Floyd’s specifically). On a weekend, you may find Al wandering around an art museum, a drag show, or bro-ing out at the bars around Chicago (Boys Town and elsewhere). Well, gents, now I’ll let Al speak for himself.

Thoughts from the Lady Bro
Boys, get in line for this Midwestern cutie. Al is cultured, hilarious, and very studly. Alex is looking for a date who can he enjoy Chicago with and scope out new restaurants and bars, live music, and maybe check out something cultural every now and then. He’s truly a gem, so guys, be ready to step up your game if you want to go out with Al!
